Instructions:
- For the card front: Position the card with the fold on the left and trim it to 4 ½” wide. Measure 3” from the top edge down the right side and mark it on the card front. Open the card and use a ruler to draw a line from the fold down to the mark. Cut along the line, discarding the upper portion. Cut a piece from the striped paper to cover the card front but don’t glue it yet. Cut a 1/8”x6” strip of brown and glue it to the upper angled edge on the stripes piece. Trim the ends.
- Cut a 6”x 5/8” strip of brown brocade and mat it on brown. Glue it angled across the striped piece, 1 ¼” from the upper edge. Trim the ends. Cut out the tag and mat it on brown. Stamp “thinking of you” on the tag. Knot the ribbon and position it on the tag. Use the brad to attach the tag and ribbon to the striped piece, angled as shown. Glue the constructed stripes piece to the blank card front and ink the sides and bottom edges.
- For the inside: Cut a piece of brown brocade to cover the inside back and ink the edges. Glue it in place. Cut out the friendship quote and ink the edges. Glue it to the inside back, positioning it low to conceal it behind the card front when it’s closed.
