Instructions:

  1. Position the card with the fold at the top and cut 1” off the lower edge, through both layers. Open the card and cut 1” off the lower edge of just the front.
  2. For the card front: Cut a 6 ¼”x2 ¾” piece of green stars paper and mat it on blue. Glue this piece centered on the card front. Cut out the “surprise” art and add the star brads to it, placing them as shown. Add foam tape to the back and adhere it centered on the card front.
  3. For the inside: Cut off a double balloon, a single balloon, and a present from the felt ribbon and set them aside. Adhere a 6 ½” strip of the felt ribbon along the bottom edge on the inside back. Trim any excess.
  4. Cut a 6 ½”x1 ¾” piece of green stars paper. Cut a 6 ½”x1” piece of blue webbing paper and glue it centered on the green. Cut out the gift and “birthday wishes” art and glue them to the blue area as shown. Add the star brads, then glue the entire piece to the inside back, ½” below the fold. Adhere the felt ribbon pieces around the art as shown.
