Designer Tip: Make sure the alcohol inks are really dry before stamping with StazOn ink. Any trace of moisture will not allow for a good impression. I like to hit mine with a blast from the heat gun just to make sure. If your stamped impression is not quite perfect a black fine tip sharpie pen can help darken and fix small imperfections.

Instructions:

  1. On one of the slides apply both citrus and blue alcohol inks to the pad with blending solution. Pounce lightly onto the glass and let dry. On the remaining slide stamp the birdhouse near the top and then continue the post with the word “Tweet.” Let the ink dry.
  2. On the back of the slide with the birdhouse use the Smooch inks to color the house from the opposite side of the slide. This will keep the Smooch ink from disturbing the StazOn ink. Color the house green and the roof blue (pool). Make blue and siren (redish) dots around the stamped dots and swirls. Let dry thoroughly.
  3. Use the watermelon alcohol ink to color the memory frame red. Let dry and stamp the surface with black swirls. Color the tiny metal tag with blue and citrus alcohol inks and let dry. Stamp with a single bird image. Attach the tag to the memory frame hanger with a jump ring. Place the Smooch ink side and Alcohol inks side of the slide together and place in frame and hang from chain.
