Designer Tip: I used a sewing machine to sew my lace to the top edge of the bag, but you could use glue. If your stamped image does not come out perfectly, use a fine tip Sharpie marker to fill in or darken the black.
Instructions:
- Place the lace on newspapers and spray with Black Magic mist and small amounts of blue and pink. Let dry. Iron fold lines from the bag so that it lays flat. Place a sheet of newspaper inside the bag, to prevent mists from seeping through layers of the bag.
- Place the bag on newspapers with the Flourish mask in the center, vertically on the bag front. Cover the handles with paper to protect them from mist. Mist over the mask using black. Fill in areas with different colors of mist. Remove mask and let dry.
- Stamp 3 tree images (standing in for large leaves) extending outward from the bag top center. Stamp the large circle over the bag, with some extending off the edge of the bag. Masking: Replace the cleaned Flourish mask over the stenciled image and stamp a gear over the edges of the Flourish. Stamp leaf branches among the Flourish and gears.
- Sew the lace to the top edge of the bag with the ends meeting at the front. Glue the large flower at the center top, over the lace ends. Glue an ivory/pink flower to each side and one at lower right. Glue leaves among the flowers. Use glitter glue to outline some of the details on the Flourish, Make dots of glitter on the stamped images and apply to silk leaves and flowers. Let dry.
