Citrus Birthday Card By Tessa Bundy Supplies: - Citrus Use 'Em for Anything Papers - Citrus Flowers - Citrus Monograms - Tonic Studios Border System - Tonic Studios(r) Floral Punch - small Zots(tm) - foam tape - Glue stick - X-acto(r) knife, cutting mat Instructions: 1) For the Flower Border: Place the card with the fold at top, then cut a piece of orange paper with swirl design in the bottom left corner to fit the card front. To get your first punch to line up with the edge of the paper, position the punch system horizontal in front of you, with the punch inserted in the hole directly in front of you. Use the grid across the top of the punch system. Turn your paper so the edge you want a border on is towards you. Line up your paper so the left edge is on the second gridline to the left of the center line. For the subsequent punches, line up the blue marker on the left with the hole at the center of the smaller flower on the previous punch. Place the punched paper onto the card front. Glue a 1/4"-wide strip of yellow paper to the right of the punched border. 2) For the monogram: Punch the floral on a piece of yellow paper, then position the paper on top of the orange "B" monogram, placing the flower at the bottom curve of the "B." Glue the paper to the letter, using the craft knife to trim the inside areas of the letter. Cut a yellow flower in half, then glue behind the upper left corner of the letter. 2) Cut a 2 1/4"x1 1/4" rectangle of orange paper, mat on yellow, and print or journal the rest of the word "birthday." Attach just behind the monogram, then use foam tape to attach the monogram and message to the card front. 3) For the Inside: Cut a 4 1/2" by 3" rectangle of yellow paper and punch the floral paper punch in the bottom left and upper right corners. Mat on a 5" by 3 1/2" rectangle of orange swirl paper. Wedding Card By Tessa Bundy Supplies: - Wedding Finished In A Flash(tm) - Tonic Studios Border System - Tonic Studios(r) Fleur II Corner Punch - Jet Black StazOn inkpad - foam tape - X-acto(r) knife for inserting brads - Black pen or computer journaling - Sandpaper - Glue stick Instructions: 1) Cover the card front with black swirls paper. Cut a 4 1/4"x5" piece of black texture paper and glue horizontally across the center of the card. 2) Using as a Border Punch: Remove the wings from the Fleur II punch and use in the border punch system. To get your first punch to line up with the edge of the paper, position the punch system horizontally in front of you, with the punch inserted in the hole directly in front of you. Use the grid across the top of the punch system. Turn your paper so the edge you want a border on is towards you. Line up your paper so that the left edge is on the second gridline to the left of the center line. For the subsequent punches, line up the blue marker on the left with the first curved hole on the left of the previous punch. Trim paper so that it has 4 punches vertically along the right side and is a little less than 5" across. Attach on top of the black paper, even with the left side of the card. 3) Using as a Corner Punch: Use the Fleur II design as a corner punch (with the wings inserted) to frame the "Happily Ever After" art. Sand the edges of the art so that it blends into the light background. Cut a piece of the cream swirls paper to mat the art, leaving a 1/2" border. Punch the upper right and lower left corner of the cream paper, then ink the edges. Attach a black ribbon across the matting to line up with the black along the bottom of the art. Attach the matted piece to the card front with foam tape. Insert the champagne glass Brad Buddy(tm) to the front of the card. Tip: If you don't want the brad legs to show on the inside of the card, simply insert the brads into the Brad Buddy(tm), then use Zots(tm) to attach. 4) For the Inside: Punch the borders first, then trim the paper to the appropriate size-this ensures the design will be centered on the borders. The cream swirls paper is 5", with 4 punched designs along the bottom. Mat on tan swirls paper with 1/8" borders along both sides, about 5 1/2" in height. Journal or print your message. Dance Recital By Tessa Bundy Supplies: - Bohemian sarapapers(tm) - Bohemian Embellish-abilities(tm) - Tonic Studios Border System - Tonic Studios(r) Butterflies Border Punch - small Zots(tm) - decorative chalk - X-acto(r) knife for inserting brads - glue stick Instructions: 1) Cut a 3 1/4"x3" piece of brown circles paper. Cut a 3"x1 3/4" piece of pink circles paper and glue it on top of the brown piece, placing it even with the right side. Glue to the swirls background paper, 1 1/4" from the right side of the page, and1 1/2" from the bottom of the page. Add a 2 3/4"x1 3/4" photo to the strip, then accent with four pink mini brads. 2) Glue a 5" by 7" photo to a 7 1/4" x 9 3/4" pink circles mat. Use the butterflies punch to punch a border along the bottom of the mat. To get your first punch to line up with the edge of the paper, position the punch system horizontally in front of you, with the punch inserted in the hole directly in front of you. Use the grid across the top of the punch system. Turn your paper so the edge you want a border on is towards you. Line up your paper so the left edge is on the second gridline to the left of the center line. For the subsequent punches, line up the blue marker on the left so that it covers the right side of the lower butterfly on the previous punch (the left wing and antennae will hang out slightly). This pattern will fit perfectly across the bottom of the 7 1/4" mat. If your mat is larger or smaller, punch the border first and then trim the paper to the appropriate size. 3) Mat the pink paper on brown circles paper, but before you attach it, chalk along the bottom of the brown paper (behind the butterfly border) with black chalk. The chalk darkens the background and helps the border stand out. Journal on the pink paper, then wrap a brown ribbon across the bottom portion of the photo. Glue the matted piece to the swirls background paper, overlapping the pink and brown strip. 4) For the Flower Embellishments: Cut out the two circular flower art designs. Punch the butterflies in the center of each. The easiest way to do this is to line up the top of the circle art with the front edge of the punch. You will be able to align the left-right positioning because the sides of the design will stick out on either side of the punch. Use the sides to position the art and hold it in place while you punch. Attach one with a Zot(tm) to the center of a large brown flower. Trim off just the bottom petals of the flower and attach between the photo and journaling with a Zot(tm). 5) Chalk a small scrap of brown circles paper and glue it behind the second punched circle. Place on top of a white flower and use a Zot(tm) to attach it to the upper right of page. Cut a pink flower in half and Zot(tm) it along the bottom right edge of the large pink mat. Add a brad at the flower center. 6) Journal on a tag and add to the top right corner of the matted photo with a pink mini brad. Insert brads randomly through the background paper to accent some of the swirls.
