- Color the bottom of the pendant black. Let the ink dry. Pour a small amount of crystal lacquer in the bottom of the pendant. Place a piece of scrap paper over the top of the pendant, covering 1\2 of the heart and sprinkle one color of gem particles into the exposed area. Remove the paper and cover the opposite side and sprinkle the remaining color of gems into the wet lacquer. Let dry.
- Fill the pendant to the top edge with lacquer and let dry 8-10 hours before wearing. Attach the pendant and heart charm to the chain using the jump rings.
Tip: Use the permanent black pen on the inside bottom of the heart pendant. This is according to the manufacturers directions and I believe the black allows the portions of the pendant that might miss some gem particles to be “filled in” black instead of the lighter silver color showing through. |
