Take Care Project: Card 1) Place the card with the fold at the top and cover the card front with pink floral paper, positioning the scallop border against the left edge. Glue the yellow flower punch-out centered over the flowered portion of the card front. Glue the "take care" tag punch-out with the tag over the center of the flower, then foam tape a button punch-out over the tab. Foam tape three button punch-outs down the scallop border. 2) Inside: Glue a 1 1/8"-wide strip of pink floral paper across the top of the card front. Glue the "Hope this brightens your day" punch-out overlapping the bottom edge of the strip. Foam tape the "thinking of you..." punch-out centered below the strip. Project: Card 1) Place the card with the fold at the top and glue a 1 3/4"-wide strip of light blue "mesh" paper even with the fold. 2) Cut a 6 1/2"x4" piece of pastel squares paper and fold over 3/8" along one long edge. Run a 7 1/2" length each of light blue and purple ribbon through the slots on the "extraordinary" slide punch-out. With the folded edge at the top, foam tape the slide over the right side of the squares paper, wrapping the ribbon tails around the edges of the paper and taping them to the back side. Glue the squares paper over the bottom of the card front. 3) Foam tape the "hope your birthday is" punch-out over the right end of the folded paper edge. Add a yellow mini brad to a blue silk flower and Zot(tm) the flower to the left of the punch-out. 4) Inside: Mat a 1"-wide strip of squares paper on light blue textured paper and glue down the center of the card inside. Glue the "Have a spectacular day" punch-out over the center of the strip. Glue a 3 5/8"x5" piece of purple vellum over the right side of the card front. 2) Cut a 3 1/8"x5" piece of purple striped paper (stripes running vertically). Layer pink grosgrain ribbon on top of blue sheer ribbon and run them through the slots on the "Thinking of you" punch-out. Glue the punch-out over the top of the striped paper, wrapping the ribbon tails around the edges of the paper and taping them to the back side. Glue the paper centered over the vellum. Zot(tm) a knot of blue sheer ribbon over the top of the sentiment. 3) Add three flower punch-outs in the bottom left corner of the card front, gluing one and attaching two with foam tape. 4) Inside: Glue a 2 1/2"x3 1/2" piece of purple vellum in the top left corner o the card inside. Glue the striped border punch-out centered down the vellum, trimming any excess even with the card edges. Glue the "Wishing you a day filled with..." punch-out over the top of the vellum and Zot(tm) a knot of pink ribbon below. Cover the card front with lavender floral paper, placing the striped border against the top edge. Chalk the edges of a glassine envelope and fold it into shape. Glue the envelope below the striped border. 2) Tear and one edge of a piece of lavender and green glimmer paper. Glue the lavender paper with the torn edge overlapping the bottom edge of the envelope, then trim the paper even with the card edges. Glue the green paper over the bottom of the lavender paper, trimming any excess. Glue more lavender paper over the bottom of the green paper. 3) Fold 2" of ribbon in half and glue the loose ends behind the top of the "May your day be filled with..." punch-out. Foam tape the punch-out at an angle, slightly tucked into the glassine envelope, then foam tape a button punch-out over the folded ribbon. Foam tape the "birthday" punch-out over the envelope, just above the torn glimmer paper. Foam tape a lavender silk flower over the right edge of the torn glimmer papers, then foam tape a button punch-out in the center. 4) Inside: Glue a 4"x6 1/2" piece of lavender floral paper with the striped border against the top edge of the card inside. Fold 2" of ribbon in half and glue the loose ends behind the top of the "recipe" punch-out. Glue the punch-out below the striped border and foam tape a button punch-out over the folded ribbon. Glue the border overlapping the seam between the two papers. 2) Glue the large heart punch-out over the right end of the striped border. Foam tape "x" and "o" punch-outs over the heart, then Zot(tm) a pink bow over the top. Foam tape the "so in love" punch-out down the top right edge of the card front. 3) Inside: Glue a 2 3/4"x5" piece of purple dotted paper over the bottom of the card inside. Glue a square of yellow textured paper even with the top right corner of the card front. Cut a 5"x6 1/2" piece of yellow dotted paper. Glue a square of blue/yellow paper behind the top right corner of the dotted paper. Glue a 2"x5" piece of pink textured paper over the left side of the dotted paper. Add a yellow mini brad to both top corners and the bottom left corner of the pink paper. Glue the dotted paper over the card front, folding over the top right corner and gluing it in place on the card front. Add a yellow heart brad to a pink silk flower and Zot(tm) the flower over the folded corner. 2) Punch 6 holes down the left side of the "b" punch-out. Knot various ribbons through the bottom 5 holes. Punch a hole in the top of the "happy" punch-out and run ribbon through, then tie it through the top hole on the "b". Glue the "b" over the right side of the pink paper piece and foam tape the "happy" punch-out in place. Fold pink ribbon in half and glue the loose ends behind the right end of the "birthday!" punch-out. Foam tape the punch-out over the bottom of the "b". 3) Inside: Mat a 1 3/4"-wide strip of yellow textured paper on blue/yellow paper, then glue across the bottom of the card inside. Glue the "You're the star of the show" punch-out overlapping the top edge of the strip, then glue and foam tape star punch-outs to the right. Cut a 5"x6 1/2" piece from the bottom left corner of the purple flourish paper. Accent the centers of the circular flourishes with purple brads and mini brads. 2) Wrap 6" of ribbon around the bottom of the paper and tape the tails to the back side. Mat the "wish" cut-out on ivory glimmer, then foam tape it centered over the ribbon. Glue the "make a" cut-out above the word "wish". Use lavender mini brads to attach a purple turn mount over each side of "make a". 3) Glue the paper over the card front, folding over the top right corner and gluing it in place. Fold 2" of ribbon in half and secure the loose ends behind the top of a flower tile cut-out by adding a mini brad to the center of the flower. Foam tape the cut-out over the folded corner. 4) Inside: Glue a 2 1/2"-wide strip of purple flourish paper down the center of the card inside. Glue two flower tiles and the "happy birthday" cut-out overlapping the right edge of the strip. Glue a 4" square of pastel squares paper centered on a 4 3/4" square of yellow textured paper. Add a pink mini brad to each corner of the squares paper and glue the papers centered on the card front. 2) Glue the "surprises" border across the center of the card front, trimming the excess even with the card edges. Glue the "happy birthday" cut-out at an angle with the left end overlapping the center of the border. Add yellow and blue heart brads to the center of two yellow flower punch-outs and foam tape the flowers over the border. 3) Inside: Glue a 4" square of yellow textured paper centered on the card inside. Glue the "and cake and chocolate" punch-out centered over the top of the paper, then foam tape a circular flower punch-out over the top left corner. Place the card front on a cutting mat and cut a 1 7/8" square window in the center. 2) Cut a 4 3/4" square of green zigzag paper. Mat a 2" square of green glimmer paper on yellow textured paper, then clue centered on the zigzag paper. Place the papers on a cutting mat and cut a 1 7/8" square window through all the layers, in the center of the green glimmer square. Attach the "thinking of you" cut-out across the bottom of the window with a purple mini brad in each end. Wrap 5 3/4" of ribbon around the bottom of the zigzag paper and tape the tails to the back side. Add a yellow mini brad to each end of the ribbon and to each top corner of the paper. Glue the paper centered on the card front, aligning the windows. Zot(tm) a bow over the right end of the ribbon length. 3) Inside: Loop ribbon and layer it behind a purple silk flower, then add a yellow brad to the center of the flower. Foam tape the flower to the card inside so it's positioned in the window when the card is closed. Computer journal "today and always!" on the green tag cut-out, then glue it with the tab tucked under the flower.
