Designer's Tip: I had fun assembling all these circles of Dazzles™, but if you're short on time, just do one row of the squares and circles through the bag center, then add paper tape and Dazzles™ borders above and below the row.
Instructions
- For the bag: Punch nine squares from white cardstock. Glue three across the front of the bag, ⅛" from the bottom. Glue three squares across the top, ⅞" from the upper edge, then glue three more evenly spaced across the center. Cut a 7⅞" trendy tape length and notch both ends. Place between the bottom and center rows of squares. Cut a 7⅞" Dazzles red border and place on the tape center. Repeat between the center and top rows, placing a silver border on that tape, and again above the top row, placing a green border on that tape.
- Punch nine circles from red cardstock. Assemble Dazzles™ large stockings on three circles, large mitten sets on three, and small mittens and hat sets on three circles. Foam tape a circle to each square, varying their placement in the rows. Place Dazzles™ “simple joys” on the upper left circle, bending it to fit the circle. Place “friend” on the center circle, and “celebrate” on the lower right circle as shown.
- For the tag: Punch a green cardstock square and mat on red cardstock with 1/16" borders. Punch a white cardstock circle and assemble a small Dazzles™ stocking on it. Place Dazzles™ red snowflakes, “for you,” and “with love” on it as shown, then Foam tape to the square.
- Punch a hole in the upper corner of the tag and tie it to the bag with twine. Make a ribbon bow with four loops and secure the center with thread. Tie the bow to the bag with the twine. Assemble a Dazzles™ hat on red cardstock, cut it out, and use double-stick tape to secure to the bow center.
