Instructions:

  1. For the card front: Turn the card with the fold at the top. Cut burgundy border paper to fit the front, positioning the border at the bottom. Don't glue it yet. Cut a 6½"x1¼" green stripes paper and glue along the upper edge.
  2. Cut a 6½"x1¼" burgundy paisley paper. Mat the upper long edge on burgundy textured paper with ¼" border, then trim with the scallop-edged scissors. Glue to the border piece, 2¾" from the lower edge. Cut a 6½"x 3/8" green suede paper and glue on the seam between the two papers. Glue the wide lace below it, wrapping the ends to the back. Glue the constructed front to the card.
  3. Cut a 2"x2¼" green suede paper and mat on gold with 1/16" borders. Glue a felt ornament in the center then place three 3mm pearls in the center. Knot a 2½" ivory ribbon and glue at the top. Foam tape the ornament to the card as shown. Place 3mm pearls on the scallops. Glue 5mm pearls on the lace, ¼" apart.
  4. For the inside: Cut a 5½"x3¾" burgundy border piece with the stripes along the top. Glue centered on the inside. Print the sentiment in burgundy on ivory paper and trim to 4 1/8"x2 1/8". Mat on green textured paper with 1/16" borders, then glue centered on the border piece. Glue a felt ornament at the lower left and glue a knotted 2" ribbon at the top. Place three 3mm pearls in the center.
