- Follow directions on the template to create the bushel basket and handles from green and yellow plaid paper. Fold together and attach with green mini brads.
- Trace and cut out the apple tag from solid green paper, and the leaf from remaining plaid paper. Write or computer print "Happy Birthday" on the center of the apple, then glue the leaf in place. Punch a hole in the top and attach to the side of the basket with a brad.
- Cut the 3/8"x11 5/8" strip from green paper for the basket band, and glue around the outside as indicated.
