Designer’s Tip: Use smaller shapes, like the Micro Mini Pennant, for longer words like “Merry” or “happy” or angle the shapes differently on the card.
- Place the card fold at the top. Cover the card with lime cardstock. Ink the edges of a 6”x 4 3/4” rectangle of red dot paper and glue to the card center.
- Trace the large flag banner onto light blue dot paper, ink the edges and mat with white cardstock, leaving a 1/16” border. Glue to the top left side of the card.
- Glue a length of red mini rick rack across the card, draping 1” to 1 1/4” from the card top. Trace the small flag and mini pendant shapes onto green stripe, lime berries and light blue dot papers. Cut out and ink the edges black. Mat with white cardstock, leaving a 1/16” border.
- Foam tape the banners evenly spaced across the rick rack. Computer journal “noel” (Harrington font-26 pt) and print onto white cardstock. Punch out the letters with the circle punch and glue to the banners. Glue knotted lengths of green ribbon between the banners. Tie a bow within a 12” length of white ribbon and glue across the bottom of the card, 3/4” from the bottom edge of the card.
