Designer Tip: Add a creative edge to a cutaway card the easy way with Papier Tole foil die-cuts! Simply attach the layered die-cut to the edge of the cutaway card front, so it overlaps the inside.

Instructions:

  1. With the card fold at the left, trim 1 ¼” from the right edge of the card front. Cover the remaining card front with striped paper. Glue a 1 ½” wide burgundy rectangle even with the right edge of the card front. Trim the orange and teal stripe section from the remaining paper and glue along the left edge of the burgundy paper. Ink edges brown.
  2. Punch out the red #1 image from the die-cut sheet and glue the left side of it to your card so it overlaps the inside. Punch out the #2 image and foam tape over its matching design. Repeat foam taping each number until the design is complete. Print out the tags. Write or computer print words on them as shown. Glue smaller tag angled on the card front, adding ribbon as shown.
  3. Glue a 2 ½” wide striped rectangle even with the right edge of the inside. Ink edges brown. Glue tag overlapping the striped paper. Add extra art from the die-cut sheet and ribbon as shown.
