Tip: To hide the tabs of the pop-up, cut slits in the background paper and insert the tabs through the slits, gluing them to the back of the paper. You will want make the pop-up and attach it to the background paper, then attach them to the card.
Instructions:
- For the front: With the fold on top, cover card with brown ornament paper. Glue 4 ½”x5” of ivory ornament, 4 ¼”x5” of burgundy swirl, and 3 ½”x5” of teal texture centered on the card. Glue 2” of burgundy/cream gingham ribbon to the center top of the card. Tie a small bow from burgundy twill ribbon and glue it to the bottom of the gingham ribbon.
- Punch a 3” circle from burgundy swirl and accent swirls and edges with Gold Lamé Smooch Ink. Glue to card at the base of the bow. Punch a 1 11/16” circle from white cardstock and print a greeting on it. Paint Gold Lamé on the edges and glue to burgundy circle towards the top.
- For the inside: Cover the inside (both panels) with brown ornament paper. Tear two 6 ½”x1 ½” strips of burgundy swirl and glue them along the top and bottom panels as shown. Print “to the world!” on 3 separate pieces of ivory ornament paper. Mat each word on burgundy swirl, leaving 1/8” borders. Glue the words in a stair-step formation as shown, in the middle of the bottom panel.
- For the pop-up: Follow the template instructions to make a teal texture “JOY” pop-up. Paint the edges and between the letters with Siren Red Smooch Ink. Fold the top and bottom tabs back and glue the pop-up to the middle of the card.
