Instructions:

  1. Assembling the mini book: Ink the edges of the bags. Fold each 3⁄4" from the end. Stack the bags and glue the folded ends creating a mini book. Punch two holes through the glued section, 1⁄2" from the outside. Thread a ribbon through the hole and tie a knot on top. Repeat with the other three ribbons and trims, tying each individually. Trim the tails to 11⁄2" long. Place the mini book with the binding on the left.
  2. For the cover: Cut a 1"x3" strip of blue. Ink the edges, add penwork and glue by the top bag opening. Cut a 3" square of white floral with a scalloped border. Ink the edges and add penwork. Place on your work surface with the scallops on the right. Insert a brad in each end of the “Especially for you” label, flatten the legs keeping them behind the label. Glue as shown. Insert a square brad into a flower on the upper right. Glue on the cover overlapping the blue strip.
  3. Embellish the tags & bags: Cover the tags with papers, using both sides of the double-sided papers and mixing the patterns on each tag to make them unique. To keep the brad legs from showing on the back of the first tag (shown above), insert the brads into the scalloped border and the floral paper before gluing it on the tag. Write on the coupons and glue on the tags or use the blanks to make your own unique coupons. Ink the tag edges and add penwork. Re-punch the hole and add ribbons, a flower and brad, or a paper tab and a brad. Decorate the bags to match the tags. Tuck each tag into its matching bag.
  4. Sign your name to the “Made by" label and glue it on the back.
