Instructions:

  1. With the star border at the top, cover the box lid with blue star paper. Open the box lid and trace the 3 ½” wide star on the lid center. Use the knife and ruler to cut out the star shape. Glue ¼” wide strips of star/square paper on each side of the box.
  2. Cut the “boy” border from the overlay. Glue a large square of blank overlay to the inside of the lid, covering the star opening. Center the word “boy” inside the star on the outside of the box. Trim excess overlay even with the lid sides and punch holes on each end to secure mini brads through overlay border. Glue “Birthday” cut out strip at the top right corner with a knotted length of ribbon.
  3. Inside: Glue a tag and Birthday cut-out strip. Sign the tag and fill the box with lose candy. Close the lid.
