Tip: According to manufacturer instructions you cannot emboss DircoFibers™ using acrylic stamps. Even low temperature will melt the stamps. This is true…I tried it. For stamping DicroFibers™ using acrylic stamps you must first press the fibers and then stamp onto the fibers using permanent ink.
Instructions:
- Place the card with the fold at the top. Cover the card with black glimmer paper. Cut a 5”x 4” rectangle of gray/black/burgundy border paper and mat with burgundy paper, leaving a 1/8” wide border.
- Press the DicroFibers™ into a roughly 4” x 2 ½” oval and glue to the card front. Stamp “Happy Birthday” and “Dad” over the fibers and let the ink dry. Stamp the wrench at the card bottom left. Secure 3 gears to the card front using burgundy mini brads.
- Inside the card: Glue a ¾” wide strip of border paper to the bottom inside back. Stamp “Celebrate” above the border.
