Cherish and adore

Designer Tips: Here I printed words and an affirmation on ivory paper and trimmed them into rectangles, then crumpled, inked, and sanded the pieces for a distressed look. Adding the ink after crumpling the paper emphasizes the wrinkles. I also cut or tore the edges randomly and embellished the pieces with ribbon, paper, ribbon, or brads before adding to the page. Use small pieces of foam tape to increase the dimension. If you like, you can use brown chalk rather than ink for a slightly softer look.
