Holiday Cone

  1. Turn the foil board so the white side is up, and the name and the HOTP number is at the right corner closest to you. Take the left corner closest to you and start rolling it, adding mounting squares to secure it as you go along. Keep the right end as small as you can, allowing the left end to be larger, about 3 1/4" or so when finished. If any words show at the top, loosen the top slightly and overlap the paper so the words are covered. Secure the end with mounting squares, then add Tacky glue to the point and press in place for a minute or so. Add a rubber band around the glued area so it's tight, until the glue dries.
  2. Cut a 10" length of white ribbon and add the silver border sticker across it. Glue the ribbon with the sticker to the cone, along the edge of the foil board. Add a 1 1/4" snowflake sticker to the center of a 3" white poinsettia and secure with a blue mini brad. Zot to the front of the cone as shown. Zot a bow near the bottom at the end of the ribbon/border sticker.
  3. Cut a 2"x1 1/8" blue cardstock rectangle. Trim ends to create a tag shape. Mat on white, leaving a 1/16" border. Use the transfer sheet to add "JOY" to the center of the tag. Add a small snowflake sticker left of the word as shown. Glue to the cone above the flower. Remove the rubber band when glue is dry. I left mine on overnight, and it's very secure.
