Christmas Take Out Box

Instructions:

  1. Assemble the box by tucking in the flaps at the bottom, and inserting the handles through the flaps on the top. Cover the two short sides of the box with red textured paper, trimming edges evenly. Cover one long side with ivory/green/red plaid paper, and the other with green textured paper with squares border.
  2. Open the top and bottom flaps and attach Christmas tree brad buddies to the shorter red sides and reindeer buddies to the longer sides. Mat word fragments on red and glue above the reindeer buddies. Glue art above Christmas tree buddies.
  3. Cover top flap of the lid with red textured paper, trimming edges and center slit evenly with knife. Glue "celebration" fragment to top flap, then write or computer print "Merry Christmas!" on green textured paper, trim to a rectangle, and mat on ivory. Glue to the top flap. Tie ribbon in a bow and Zot to top flap near the handle.

  • X-acto® knife, awl, or pin to make holes for brads
  • 10" length 3/8" wide green grosgrain ribbon
  • Black pen or computer printer
