Instructions:

  1. Cut the blue/ivory checked paper into a 11 1/2” square and mat with black cardstock. Trace a 9” frame onto aqua swirl paper and mat with white cardstock. Cut away the bottom portion so the frame measures 9”x6 ½” and glue to the center of the background paper.
  2. Mat a 6”x4” photo with black cardstock, leaving a 1/8” wide border. Glue to the center of the frame. Mat a 2”x3 ¼” photo with both white and black cardstocks with 1/16” borders. Glue overlapping the right side of the larger photo.
  3. Ink the edges of a 12”x1” strip of striped paper and glue across the bottom edge of the frame. Embellish with a foam taped bird cut out, buttons, a flower and number die-cut representing the age of the subject. Glue a 5”x1” strip at the top of the frame, extending from the left side. Tuck a journaled die-cut oval under the right corner of the frame.
  4. Glue buttons on the left corner of the frame and die-cut keys dangling from the left corner with a knotted ribbon length at the top. Apply glue to the edges of the alphabet and glue to the top of the photo. Glue a green bird die-cut to the right.
