  1. Follow the instructions in the words and quotes book to cover the books split cover and back with paper. Use the 1/4” hole punch to re-punch the holes.
  2. For the cover focal: Cut a 2 1/2”x4 1/2” rectangle of light green patterned paper and mat with pink cardstock. Paint the heart and swirl piece pink and ivory and let dry. Use the foam wedge to apply brown ink to each in order to make the embossed swirl imprint show up. Punch a hole in the center of the heart and secure an ivory flower with a green mini brad. Glue the grunge pieces to the rectangle. Secure pink mini brads at each corner of the rectangle. Mat with glimmer paper (to prevent prongs from showing at the back). Adhere a gold tag to the swirl piece and top with a knotted ribbon length. Glue only the left side of the rectangle to the left side of the split cover.
  3. For each page: Cover facing pages with the same or coordinating papers. Use scraps from one page as an element on the following flap as you open the next trifold. To prevent brad prongs from showing on the opposite page, secure prongs to the paper before gluing to the page. The primary color is green, but I added pink accents with matting, painted or inked grunge board, ribbons and brads.
  4. To assemble the pages: Line up the holes and thread with the ribbon for the binding.
