Bird Box

  1. Cover the box panels and flaps with Asian Words paper. Use the knife to cut slits for the handle. Tear a 2” wide blue strip of paper and ink the long edges. Wrap around the box sides.
  2. Trace the bird pattern onto the suede and the wings onto the blue flourish paper. Apply ink to what will be the inside of the wing and fold. Thread though the slit on the body. Fold the wings so that they are slightly parted.
  3. Glue the bird to the layered flowers. Tie the ribbon around the left side of the box handle.
