Happy Holly-Days Project: Card Supplies: - Holly Punch - Christmas Finished in a Flash!(tm) - Paper Pizazz(r) Swirly Doodles Template - white cardstock - green pen - black pen - black ink pad - small Zots(tm) - 5"x6 1/2" blank white card Instructions: 1) Place the card with the fold at the top and ink the edges. Ink the edges of a 6 1/4"x4 3/4" piece of tan gingham paper and glue it centered on the card front. Cut a 2 1/2"-wide strip of striped paper (stripes running vertically) and ink the long edges. Mat the long edges on red gingham paper and ink the edges of the mat. Glue the strip down the left side of the card front, trimming it even with the card edges. 2) Punch two holly shapes out of red gingham paper. Trace the negative image of the leaves twice on the right side of the card front using a green pen. Add the punched berries to the traced leaves. Trace swirl C from the template in black pen overlapping each holly bunch. 3) Computer journal "Have a jolly Christmas!" on white cardstock, leaving space between "a" and "jolly". Ink the edges and mat on red gingham paper, then ink the edges of the mat. Glue the sentiment in the bottom left corner of the card front and Zot(tm) a knot of green ribbon to the left edge. 4) Punch a holly shape out of green gingham and red gingham papers. Using the green pieces for the leaves and the red pieces for the berries, outline each with penwork. Glue the pieces in the space between "a" and "jolly". 5) Inside: Cover the card inside with red holly paper and ink the edges. Computer journal "Happy Days!" on white cardstock, leaving space between the two words. Ink the edges of the sentiment and mat on green gingham paper, then ink the edges of the mat. Glue the sentiment centered on the card inside. Punch a holly shape out of green gingham and red gingham papers, outline each piece and glue the pieces between the words. Celebration! Project: Card Supplies: - Starburst Punch - Paper Pizazz(r) Use 'Em For Anything Bright - Bright Monograms - Susan's Ribbon Set - Expressions Acrylic Stamps - 2"x6" Acrylic Block - white cardstock - black ink pad - craft knife, cutting mat - small Zots(tm) - 5"x6 1/2" blank white card Instructions: 1) Place the card with the fold on the left and trim 1 1/4" off the bottom of the card front. Cover the remaining card front with yellow textured paper and ink the edges. Punch three starburst shapes evenly spaced along the bottom edge. 2) Punch-out a red number monogram. Punch starburst shapes out of green, light blue and dark blue textured papers and glue them to the monogram. Place the monogram on a cutting mat and use a craft knife to trim the starbursts even with the monogram edges. 3) Glue the monogram to white cardstock and ink the edges. Trace around the edges of the monogram with a black pen. Mat the cardstock on light blue paper and ink the edges. Glue the matted monogram centered at the top of the card front. Zot(tm) a knot of red dotted ribbon in the top left corner of the white cardstock. 4) Inside: Cover the card inside with red textured paper. Glue a 1 1/4"-wide strip of striped paper even with the bottom edge. Ink the edges of the card inside. Glue red dotted ribbon even with the top of the striped strip, so it's visible below the card front when the card is closed. 5) Ink the edges of a 2 1/4"x2 1/2" piece of white cardstock and stamp "celebration!" at the bottom. Mat on blue textured paper and ink the edges. Punch three starburst shapes out of green, yellow and dark blue textured papers. Layer the starbursts above "celebration" and secure them in place with a red mini brad. Glue the whole piece centered at the top of the card inside. My First Canoe Trip! Project: 12"x12" page Supplies: - Sunflower Punch - Robin Punch - Winged Things Finished in a Flash!(tm) - Slide Mount Mania(tm) Large Circular Slide Mounts - black ink pad - craft knife, cutting mat - foam tape - small Zots(tm) Instructions: 1) Place a sheet of mauve paper with the border at the bottom. Ink the edges of a 12"x3" strip of striped paper (stripes running horizontally) and glue it across the top of the background. 2) Double-mat a 5"x7" photo on pink, then yellow paper and glue in the top left corner of the page. 3) Computer journal a vertical block on yellow textured paper, leaving 2 1/2" of blank space below the journaling. Ink the edges and attach to the right of the photo with a green mini brad in each corner. 4) Cover three slide mounts with striped paper and ink the edges. Punch a sunflower shape out of mauve textured and a robin shape out of yellow textured paper. Glue the negative images in two of the slide mounts, trimming the paper even with the slide mount edges. Glue yellow paper behind the sunflower and mauve paper behind the robin. Glue a photo in the third slide mount window. 5) Fold 1" of mauve ribbon in half and glue the loose ends behind the top left edge of the sunflower slide mount. Zot(tm) a bow of mauve ribbon to the bottom of the robin slide mount. Zot(tm) a knot of mauve ribbon to the left edge of the photo slide mount and add a yellow butterfly brad to the right edge. 6) Glue two bracket punch-outs in the bottom left and right corners of the page. Glue the robin and photo slide mounts between the brackets. Add the dragonfly Brad Buddy(tm) plus dragonfly and butterfly brads around the slide mounts. Computer journal "My first canoe trip!" on yellow textured paper and ink the edges. Attach between the brackets with a pink mini brad in the left end. 7) Foam tape the sunflower slide mount in the blank space below the journaling. Christmas Joy Project: 12"x12" page Supplies: - Pine Branch Punch - Christmas Finished in a Flash!(tm) - Bright Monograms - white Fun Flock (available from Stampendous) - white cardstock - white pen - foam tape - small Zots(tm) Instructions: 1) Cut a 3 1/2"x12" strip of striped paper (stripes running horizontally) and mat one long edge on white cardstock. Glue the unmated edge of the strip even with the left edge of a sheet of red gingham paper. Add zigzag penwork overlapping the matted edge of the strip. Add a red mini brad to each end of the "Christmas Blessings" label and foam tape it at the top of the striped strip. 2) Punch a pine branch shape from the bottom left and top right corners of a 5"x7" photo. Outline the punched areas with white. Double-mat the photo on green gingham paper, then white cardstock. Mat the long edges again on striped paper (stripes running vertically), then glue the photo at the top of the red gingham portion of the background. Add three green and red mini brads down the top left and bottom right edges of the photo. Write around the edges of the photo. 3) Cover a "J" and a "Y" monogram with green gingham paper, then mat each on white cardstock. Glue the "J" in the bottom left and the "Y" in the bottom right of the gingham portion of the background. Write "Christmas" to the left of the "J". 4) Punch 12 pine branches out of green gingham paper. Apply glue to each punched piece and flock. Glue the branches overlapping in an "O" shape between the "J" and the "Y". Add gold brads evenly spaced throughout the punched branches and Zot(tm) a bow of white ribbon at the top. Beth Project: 12"x12" page Supplies: - Starburst Punch - Spring Flower Punch - Paper Pizazz(r) Use 'Em for Anything Pastel - Pastel Monograms - Pastel Silk Flowers - Pastel Brad Pack - light pink cardstock - lavender cardstock - Glossy Accents - black ink pad - fine-grade sandpaper or emery board Instructions: 1) Place a sheet of light blue paper with the dotted edge on the left. Double-mat a 7"x5" photo on pink, then lavender cardstock, inking the edges of the pink mat. Glue the photo in the top right corner of the page. 2) Punch out a pink number monogram, sand the edges and accent with dots of Glossy Accents. Glue the monogram in the bottom right corner of the photo. Punch a Spring Flower shape in light pink paper, then cut out the image around the edges. Accent the inner petals with Glossy Accents. Punch a Starburst shape out of lavender paper and add dots of Glossy Accents. Attach the punched shapes down the right side of the photo with mini brads. 3) Punch out pink monograms to spell the subject's name, sand the edges and accent with dots of Glossy Accents. Glue the monograms below the photo. Use a mini brad to attach a punched yellow starburst to the right of the name, accented with Glossy Accents. 4) Punch various Spring Flower and Starburst shapes out of yellow, light pink and lavender papers, accenting each with Glossy Accents. Attach the punched shapes down the left side of the page with mini brads, layering some punched pieces on top of a variety of silk flowers. The Beauty of Fall Project: 12"x12" page Supplies: - Pine Branch Punch - Fern Punch - Leaves Punch - Halloween Finished in a Flash!(tm) - black cardstock - black pen - black ink pad - small Zots(tm) - clear adhesive tape Instructions: 1) Ink the edges of a sheet of orange "mosaic" paper. Mat a 9"x6" photo on black cardstock and glue it at the top of the page. Write "The Beauty of Fall" below the bottom left corner of the photo. 2) Punch a pine branch out of scrap paper. Place the scrap paper over the bottom of the page and tap an ink pad on top to transfer the branch shape to the page. Repeat multiple times using the branch shape, then repeat using the fern and leaf shapes to cover the bottom of the page. Punch pine branch, fern and leaf shapes out of cardstock and glue the pieces throughout the inked shapes. 3) Run 13" of black ribbon above the leaf shapes and tape the ribbon ends to the back side. Zot(tm) a knot of black ribbon to the right end of the ribbon length. Glue a punched leaf shape extending up from the knot.
