Designer's Tip: Make a gift card holder from book pocket.

Instructions

  1. Cover the pocket front with brown gingham paper. Fold the tall portion of the pocket pack over 5/8” from the bottom edge of the pocket front. Ink the edge of the flap black.
  2. Glue the geometric paper to the front of the flap. Glue a length of black ribbon across the center of the flap. Foam tape the red/white chipboard on point over the center of the ribbon.
  3. Glue the “Happy Birthday” chipboard to the center of the red/white chipboard. Open the flap and glue the “Celebrate” chipboard near the top of the pocket. Place a gift card inside the pocket.
