Happy Birthday Card

Instructions:

  1. Add felt to the applicator and dot with Raisin ink. Apply heavily over the white and cream colored flowers.
  2. Add Espresso ink to a clean felt and slide behind the filmstrip overlay.
  3. Add blending solution to the Espresso and tap a large section of gloss paper.
  4. Add Pesto ink and blending solution and tap a large section of gloss paper.
  5. Trim the Espresso inked section to 5"x6 ½" and ink the edges with black ink.Trim strip of gloss paper (plain) and back the filmstrip overlay. Cut out leaves from green inked paper and add flowers and leaves to the filmstrip with brads.
  6. Tie a bow in cream sheer ribbon and glue dot to the background paper. Tuck one end behind the paper and glue to the front of the card.
  7. Print a greeting onto white cardstock. Trace and cut out as a tag. Ink the edges and glue under the bow.
  8. Inside the card: Cut a 3" strip of background paper. Back a piece of the filmstrip overlay and add a smaller flower and leaves with a brad.
  9. Add a bow and foam tape the greeting. Glue inside the card.

  • Glossy paper
  • Cardmaker’s Ribbons, Classic
  • Raisin, Espresso & Pesto Alcohol inks
  • Alcohol ink applicator & felt
  • Blending solution
  • Glue dots
  • Silk flowers, Chocolate
  • Black ink pad, Staz-on
  • White cardstock
