Supplies:
Instructions:
- Tear a 1 1/2” piece of green solid paper, tearing toward you
to get a white edge. Mat on black and tear so white edge shows, leaving
about 1”. Glue to green plaid background paper and roll the torn
edges as shown.
- Mat the photo on green and trim the top and sides. Tear the bottom
to 1 1/4”. Mat again on black, trimming top and sides closely.
Tear bottom diagonally as shown. Roll torn edges. Insert three eyelets
across the black mat and secure to the background, leaving the bottom
unglued.
- Punch out the fishing images, mat each onto a 2” square and
add eyelets to the top. Secure fibers on back with tape and thread up
through top of eyelets and through eyelets on photo mat, securing on
the back. Attach matted images to bottom of page.
- Cut out alphabet tiles and adhere to green on left of page. Stamp
the journaling in black, using alphabet stamps to finish journaling.

A Tip From Paris:
Paris tore and rolled the edges of her papers in this fishing
page, mimicking the waves of the river. This technique is perfect for
adding texture, dimension and contrast to your page.
