Designer’s Tip: Ink the black side of the embossing folder, then emboss on white cardstock for a faux letterpress look for your card.

  1. Place the card with the fold on the top. Cut a 6 3/8”x4 7/8” Mirage red/black tiles paper and glue it centered on the card.
  2. Cut a 7”x5” white cardstock. Open the embossing folder and place it out flat on your work surface. Use the Rose Coral ink pad directly on the black side of the embossing folder. Now carefully place the piece of white cardstock on top of the inked side of the folder, making sure the cardstock meets the fold. Carefully emboss your cardstock following your machine manufacturer’s instructions. Carefully open the embossing folder and remove the cardstock. Wash the embossing folder with soap and water.
  3. Trim the embossed design at the edges of the embossed dots and mat on Mirage black textured paper with 1/8” borders. Foam tape centered on the card. Place Dazzles™ “Best Wishes” on the right side of the embossed oval. Place flowers in a cluster on the left side of the oval as shown.
  4. Cut a piece of 1/8” wide coral grosgrain ribbon to fit the bottom edge of the black mat and glue along the bottom of the mat as shown. Tie a coral ribbon bow and Zot™ in place near the flowers. Decorate the embossed oval with Black Jewel Dazzles™ as shown.
