Birds & Branches Card

Designer Tip: Use a VersaMark Pen a section at a time to add embossing powder to the raised embossed image on the cardstock.
- Card front: Place a blank card with the fold on top and cut 3/8" from the bottom edges.
- Place 6"x4 " black cardstock in the Birds On a Branch embossing folder and follow your die-cutting machine manufacturer's instructions to emboss the piece. Repeat the process with 6"x4 " vellum.
- Use the VersaMark pen to ink the raised image on the black cardstock (a small section at a time), dust with embossing powder, shake off the excess and set with the heat gun. Tear the embossed vellum piece at an angle, as shown. Use the VersaMark pen to ink the remaining raised image on the vellum, dust with powder and heat set. Align the torn and embossed vellum piece over the cardstock and Zot in place (under the embossed areas, so the Zots cannot be seen). Cut the piece down to 5 7/8"x4". Mat on white cardstock with a 1/16" border, then on black cardstock with a 1/8" border
- Tie two lengths of black and white twine across the bottom, with a bow on the left and glue centered on your card front. Place "Mom" Dazzles at the upper left.
