What We Want This December
Ever wonder what the scrapbooking pros want for Christmas? (Contrary to popular belief, they dont own everything alreadybut their scrap rooms might look like they do!). Hot Off The Press designers shared which must-have paper crafting items they wantno, needthis year for Christmas. Check back each Wednesday to read a brand-new designer's wish list!
Ive been a very good and busy girl this year. I got a new digital camera, a new Labradoodle puppy named Simba, took a trip to Disneyland with my family, watched a lot of dance recitals, soccer and basketball games and took a lot of photos, all while battling cancer. Ive got some scrapping to do and memories to preserve! To inspire me and get me started, Id love it if youd bring me the My Dog Kit Finished in a Flash!, the Magic Kingdom Punch-Outs, the Dance Mini Charms, Soccer Ribbon Set and the Basketball Brad Buddies. And since Im going to be taking some photos of my kids on your lap, could you throw in the Christmas Chipboard Tags? I promise there will be an extra snickerdoodle cookie in it for you!
Thank you and Happy Christmas,
This year I would absolutely love the Pastel Use Em For Anything collection of products: The papers and monograms, the brads, flowers and the pastel ribbon set. Also, if you have room in your bag, a Crop-A-Dile would be wonderful for adding brads and flowers to my sarabinders™! I have so many ideas for creating sarabinders™ for myself and for gifts. With the pastel products, I could make so many binders, it would keep me out of trouble for quite a while!
As you know I am a very practical girl. I would never ask for anything that I wouldn't use every chance I get. Santa, may I please have a few sets of acrylic stamps? I particularly like the Swirls, Thinga-ma-jigs and Stamped Stitches sets. Don't forget, I'll need an acrylic block and a few ink pads too. Thanks for considering my list Santa. Merry Christmas!
Well, another holiday season is upon us and I am writing to let you know that I was very, very, very good this year. Each time I get a new Paper Wishes catalog, I continue to add new items to my wish list. I just love the coordinating ribbon collections like the Winter set, the Sunshine set and the Tropical Silk Ribbons...and Stan's set is so great for masculine projects! A person can just never have too much ribbon. And of course, the stackable ribbon storage boxes would make my collection complete. Oh it would be so nice to not have my ribbons in a knotted mess. Then there are some other small things...the Brad Buddiesthey are so cute. I love the Winged Things set, USA, Football, School, Dog and Beach. I really could keep going and going but then your reindeer would need an energy bar to take off in order to deliver your sleigh to my house!
Thank you, Santa! I will leave out the milk and cookies for you. And of course the carrots for the reindeer. They will need the nourishment to return home after delivering all those yummy scrapping goodies.
I know I said this last year, but in January I promise I really am going to organize my scrapbooking supplies. One way you could help is to bring me the new Tim Holtz Alcohol Ink Case, which I really, really need to store my collection of messy alcohol inks. The tin will hold 20 bottles so I can keep them organized and all in one place. And because the tin is metal, I dont have to worry about spills or leaks.
Also, please dont forget I moved. Thank you, Santa!
PS. I think the Wood Ribbon Organizer is totally cool and very practical toobut we can talk about that another time.
