Double Pocket Card
By Debbie Samples
Designer Tip: The yellow Enamel Dots make wonderful flower centers.
- Trace and cut the Double-Pocket Treat Holder on white cardstock. Cover the inside of the pockets, and the front triangles with Hopscotch yellow plaid paper. Use the paper pattern to cut Hopscotch red dot triangles. Glue in place. Cut two inside pockets from Hopscotch red dot paper, and offset 1/8” down from the top, creating a 1/8” mat of yellow. Glue in place, trimming the bottom even. Fold the pockets on the score lines to form the holder. Cover both tags with Hopscotch border paper with the border at the bottom.
- Place the rhinestone swirl on the bottom left of one pocket. Foam tape a Paper Tole flower on the right. Place an Enamel Dot in the center of the flower. Foam tape the butterfly as shown. On the opposite side, place the rhinestone swirl on the bottom right. Foam tape a small Paper Tole flower with an Enamel Dot for the center. Use lengths of Dark Green pearls to add a stem and leaf as shown. Place 9” lengths of red, yellow and orange ribbons through the top holes, and tie a knot to hold the pockets together.
- Assemble the Happy Birthday Paper Tole with foam tape. Add Dark Green pearls to the banner as shown. Place an Enamel Dot on the flower. Glue to one of the tags. Place a line of Enamel Dots at the top of the tag. Tie a bow with 8” of bakers twine at the top, and insert into one of the pockets.
- Glue the Paper Tole speech bubble to the second tag. Foam tape one flower with an Enamel Dot center. Place the Dark Green pearls around the outside edge. Add two backed Dazzles™ as shown. Tie a baker’s twine bow at the top, and insert into the other pocket.
