Designer Tip: Use a variety of embossing folders on the same card for added texture and visual interest.
- Card front: Cut a blank card to 6¼”x5”. Place your card with the fold on top. Cover with black cardstock. Cut two 1½” squares from each of the following Rhapsody papers: orange, black, red, blue/black dots. Cut a 3” square of Rhapsody red paper.
- Emboss the 3” Rhapsody red paper with the Dandelion embossing folder, with the paper placed under the head of the dandelion. Run the rest of the squares through your embossing machine with different embossing folders using an interesting part of the folder image. Rub Perfect Pearls™ Metallics over the tops of the squares to bring out the patterns as desired. Glue the 3” square even with the left side of the card, 3/8” from the bottom. Arrange the rest of the squares leaving 1/16” between the squares, and glue them in place. Glue a 6 1/4”x1/2” Rhapsody stripe paper along the bottom edge of the card. Place the word “Dream” on a 3”x1” Rhapsody black/white floral paper. Mat on Rhapsody black paper with 1/8” borders. Foam tape to the card front, across the two middle 1½” squares. Add a star Dazzles™ to the middle of the dandelion.
- Card inside: Glue a 5¾"x3¾" Rhapsody black/white floral paper centered. Glue a 6”x2 3/8” Rhapsody orange paper in the center. Glue a 6¼”x5/8” Rhapsody stripe paper along the bottom of the orange paper. Place “Beauty” and the corner Dazzles™ as shown.
