Halloween Postcard hanging
By LeNae Gerig
Designer Tip: I love vintage Halloween decorations. They remind me of my Grandmother's home during this fun Holiday. So when I saw this kit I knew I wanted to make something to display for Halloween. Hang this on a wall or doorknob.
- Cut out the postcard art. Apply glue stick to the surface of the vertical chipboard postcard (with holes at the top). Adhere the post card art to the chipboard surface and smooth out any bubbles. Lightly sand the paper edges even with the chipboard. Punch holes through the paper where the holes in the chipboard are located.
- Thread a 12" length of ribbon through the back of the card and tie the ends in a knot, trimming the ends to 1/2" long and fraying them. Punch a hole at the lower left and secure a small rust colored flower with a square black and white dot brad.
- Cover a star and heart chipboard piece with art, sand and glue to the edges of the chipboard postcard as shown. Thread a small and large button with brown floss and knot. Glue to the star and bottom right.
