I Love You Charm Card
By Gail Booth
Designer Tip: Use the masking method to separate your stamped image into three separate words, to make several charms.
- Place your card with the fold on the left. Cut 3 1/2" off of the upper edge. Glue a 5"x3" yellow circle paper on the front. Cut two 1/4"x3" red dot papers and glue to the left and right edges of your card. Cut two 5"x1/2" red dot papers, mat on houndstooth with a 1/4" border on one long edge and glue to the upper and lower edges of your card, as shown.
- Place the "I Love You" stamp on your acrylic block and use tape to "mask" off "Love You". Pounce the stamp on the VersaMark pad, then remove the tape and stamp "I" on a 2"x1 1/4" green paper. Dust with black embossing powder and set with the heat gun. Sponge black ink around the image. Slide the paper into the Shape Studio, centering the image in the cut out area. Place a Bubble Cap over the image and press down the top to set and cut. Pop out the image and Zot onto a charm. Repeat the process for the other two images in these combinations: "Love" on red with white powder, "You" & heart shape on orange with black powder.
- Thread the charms onto a 6 1/2" length of yellow dot ribbon and anchor ends under the upper corners of the paper. Zot the charms in place and Zot small red bows onto each.
