Designer Tip: To get more of a 3-D effect, use a double layer of foam pads between each cutout layer.

  1. Start with a horizontal card with the fold on the top. Cover card front with mottled purple paper. Cut a 4 x 4 x 6 triangle from dark blue paper. Glue to the top of the card with the longest side flush with the fold. Punch out the two metallic floral borders from the cutouts. Glue the purple one across the top and the blue one across the bottom; trim edges if necessary.
  2. Cut a 3 square of blue vellum and glue to the center of the card tilted on point. Journal Happy Birthday on a blank metallic tag and glue to the card 1 from the right and 1 from the bottom. Punch out small flowers and glue to top left of the vellum square.
  3. For the 3-D flowers: Follow the package instructions to punch out the different layers of the flower oval. Place foam pads between each layer and stack on top of each other in numerical order. Glue the flower oval to the center of the card.
