Designer Tip: When blending the Cream Chalks use the pom pom applicator to gently rub the chalk onto the paper. When blending apply the base color and then a small amount of a second color, working from the edges in toward the center.

  1. Place the card fold at the left. Cover the card with pink dot paper. Apply blue cream chalk to the edges of a 4 1/2" square of pastel diamond paper and glue to the center of the card.
  2. Place the bug circle template onto white cardstock. Use the applicator to rub pink chalk around the outside scallop edge of the template. Use the clear plastic circle from the inside packaging to trace a circle around the outer edges of the scallop and cut out and glue to the center of the card.

  3. Stencil a butterfly at the circle's bottom left using purple for the body and antenna and lime and dark blue for the wings. Stencil another butterfly onto scrap white cardstock using blue for the body and purple and lime for the wings. Cut out and foam tape to the circle's upper right. Stencil a blue bug trail.
  4. Stencil a dragonfly onto scrap cardstock using purple for the body and yellow/pink for the wings. Cut out and foam tape to the upper left. Foam tape the "Happy Birthday" cut out to the lower right.
