The Wachlins & Mickey Mouse
By Susan Cobb

  1. Mat the photo on solid red paper, leaving a 1/4” mat, then black with a 1/16” mat. Glue flush against the left side of the Mickey color block paper, centered on the yellow square. Computer print journaling on white paper or write with a black pen. Trim and mat on black, then adhere to the page as shown. Attach year with foam tape.
  2. Cut out tags and above and below the journaling block as shown. Tie a knot in the center of each of three 2” lengths of ribbon. Glue to the tags and bottom of the photo as shown. Cut out the printed tape fragments and glue to create a border on the right edge of the page.

A Tip From Susan:

An 8”x8” album is the perfect way to chronicle your family’s Disney vacation—they can flip through the 8”x8” Disney album anytime to recall all the great memories. This Mickey color blocked background paper was ideal for a quick and easy page. I added cut out tape-style fragments along the right edge of the paper for a more finished look and used knotted pieces of gingham ribbon for a bit of dimension.
