Supplies:
Instructions:
- Cut the argyle paper to 5"x6 1/2". Cut the burgundy paisley paper to 2 1/2"x6 1/2" and glue to the edge of the argyle paper. Cut a 1" strip of ivory cardstock; ink the edges and glue to the left of the burgundy paper.
- Weave the gingham ribbon through the felt swirl border. Trim to the length of the ivory strip and then tuck the ends of the ribbon behind the paper. Remove the backing on the felt border at the ends to hold into place. Add mini brads to the corners of the burgundy paper. Glue to the front of the card.
- Cut 1 1/2" squares of ivory cardstock, ink the edges and add pen work. Mat with brown cardstock and foam tape to the center of the card. Trim the ends of the felt leaves and glue to the ivory squares.
- Glue dot bows to the ends of the ribbon at the edge of the mat. Print a greeting on ivory cardstock and trim. Ink the edges and add pen work. Glue to the tag and foam tape under the bow.
- Inside the card: Cut a 2" strip of argyle paper. Attach a 2 1/2" piece of burgundy and another strip of ivory. Thread ribbon through felt border. Add mini brads to the corners of the burgundy and glue inside the card.
- Add a greeting overlapping the tag and a felt leaf.

Designer Tip: Weave the ribbon through the felt swirl border without removing the backing on the border. This will make it easier to thread the ribbon through. Remove the backing on just the ends, to hold the border and ribbon down. |
