Happy Anniversary Card
By LeNae Gerig
Designer Tip: Layer punched images or cut them out around the outer edges if you only want to invest in a single punch.
- Place the card fold at the top. Cut 1" from the bottom front. Cover the front with blue/purple with white flowers paper. Glue a length of lace along the bottom edge.
- Cut a 6 ½"x1" strip of sponged pink paper. Stamp the top and bottom edge with the border stamp. Ink the edges and glue across the card center.
- Stamp the large circle border onto green paper with "Happy Anniversary" at the center. Punch out using the scallop circle. Mat with a white circle punch and foam tape to the right side of the border. Zot a sheer white dot bow under the greeting. Thread 3 buttons with thread and glue to the border, as shown.
- Inside the card: Glue a 1 ¼" strip of striped paper across the bottom inside back. Stamp a border along the top edge. Glue a purple paper border 5/8" from the top edge. Stamp a square border onto green paper and stamp "Best Wishes" at the center. Cut out the stamped image and glue over the border.
