Designer Tip: Using the guides on the Tonic Border System makes lining up consecutive punched images much easier.

  1. Cover the card with golden dot paper. Glue 1" strips of torn black script paper to the top and bottom edges. Use the corner punch attachment on the Diamond Point punch to punch the card's top and bottom right edge. Glue a 1" wide strip of golden dot paper to the inside back edge to back the punched edges.
  2. Remove the guards for the Diamond Point punch and punch the top and bottom edges of a 4 ½"x5" rectangle of black script paper, lining up the punches across from one another on each side. Glue the punched border across the card center.
  3. Tear a 1 ¼" wide strip of tan grid paper and ink the edges black. Glue across the center of the punched border paper.
  4. Print the greeting onto light ivory cardstock and cut in to a ¾" wide rectangle with a "V" cut at the right end. Ink the edges of the banner and glue to the card center. Assemble the Papier Tole alarm clock with foam tape and glue to the left side of the banner.
