Designer's tip: Instead of thread, use very thin strips of white paper to thread the buttons. It is a good use for scrap paper and shows up better than thread.

  1. Apply copper StazOn® by rubbing the surface of the inkpad directly onto the surface of the binder. Also ink the edges of a 6 1/4" x 5 1/2" rectangle of green poinsettia corner paper and a 6 1/4" x 5 1/2" rectangle of green poinsettia all over pattern paper. Glue the corner paper to the front and the all over pattern paper to the back of the binder.
  2. Glue al length of ivory lace to the left edge with a length of green rick rack over the top of the lace left edge. Attach brown ribbon to the "Date" tag and glue horizontally, 3/4" from the top of the binder. Ink the edges of a striped snowman cut-out with copper and glue vertically over the tag.
  3. Cut a "v" in one end of a 4" length of red music paper tape and adhere to the right edge of the binder 1 1/4" from the bottom. Ink the edges of the "Happy Holidays" cut out and foam tape to the bottom edge of the paper tape.
  4. Layer poinsettia and green leaves and secure with silver mini brads. Glue three poinsettias around the striped snowman cut-out. Thread buttons and glue red, green and yellow buttons to the binder front.
  5. Inserts: Tear a small corner from the brown poinsettia paper and secure layered poinsettia and leaves with a silver mini brad. Glue to the corner of the lined papers. Apply copper ink to the edges of the entire line paper page. Cover the envelope flap with brown poinsettia paper and trim even with the flap edges. Apply copper ink to the flap edges and let dry. Tuck the flap into the envelope to secure. Adhere a length of striped paper tape across the front of the envelope. Write the contents of the envelope on a journaling cut-out and ink the edges copper. Let dry and foam tape over the paper tape.
