Collage "4U" card By LeNae Gerig
Designer’s Tip: Create a collage look by cutting seemingly random elements from the paper pack. It is helpful if the background paper pattern is small if you are using small embellishments.
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Place the card fold on the side. Cover the Card with sponged golden paper. Before gluing the right edge, secure 3 brads in the upper right corner. Mat the top, bottom and right edge of a 3 1/4” x 6” rectangle of small ticket cardstock, leaving a 1/8” wide border. Glue flush with the left edge of the card.
- Glue a 5” x 1” border of hand written paper and glue 3/4” from the card bottom. Tear the right edge of a 3” x 2 1/2” rectangle of music paper. Secure a brown felt flower and leave with a green brad. Glue flush with the right edge of the card, 1/2” from the card bottom.
- Cut out a large “U” and small “4” and glue and foam tape over the border. Cut out 2 small photos from the photo paper and glue with a small clock cut out to extend from the top of the music paper. Knot a length of ribbon and glue under the photos.
- Inside: Mat the bottom long edge of a 5”x 1 3/4” rectangle with golden paper. Glue to the top of the card inside back. Secure a burgundy flower with a yellow brad at the top right corner. Glue letter cut outs spelling “Friend” along the border.
