Designer's Tip: I love the look of the layered transparent tapes! Using short strips of tissue tape on the inside of the bangle makes it easy to line up the polka dots.

  1. Cover the bangle with 2 coats of white acrylic paint. Place red stripe tissue tape on the outside of the bangle on the diagonal, leaving 1/4" going off the top and bottom. Fold the ends onto the side edges of the bangle and trim off any excess that extends beyond the side edges. Place another strip of tape parallel to the first, 1/2" away. Repeat until the bangle is completely "striped."
  2. Repeat the tape technique with black stripe tape, going the opposite angle.
  3. For the inside, cut fifteen 1 1/2" strips of red polka dot tape. Place the strips side by side on the inside of the bangle, lining up the dots for a continuous pattern.
  4. Add a layer of protection to your bangle by painting a coat of Diamond Glaze. Let dry.
