Designer's Tip: Embellishing your etched ornament with Stickles is easy and adds a lot of sparkle! It's a good idea to wear gloves when handling etching cream. To cover the gold cuff at the top, simply trim off a strip of mirror blue material from the Dazzles sheet and wrap it around.

  1. Make sure your glass disc ornament is clean and dry. Remove the wire hanger and gold cuff. Peel off the largest snowflake on the Dazzles sheet. If needed, use an X-acto® knife to remove the "innies" of the shape. Place the snowflake centered on the ornament. Paint a thick, even layer of etching cream all over the ornament and let sit for 10-15 minutes. After rinsing with water, if there are areas still not etched, repeat with a second coat. Rinse thoroughly with water. Remove the large snowflake Dazzle. Rinse again if needed and dry with a paper towel. Replace the wire and gold cuff.
  2. Place a tiny snowflake in the center of the etched snowflake. Add 2 snowflakes to the upper right and 2 to the lower left as shown. Cut a 3"x3/8" strip of mirror blue sticker material from the bottom of the Dazzles sheet. Wrap it around the gold cuff, covering it. Cut 7" of silver Memory thread. Thread it through the wire loop and twist the ends around each other to create a hanging loop. Cut 8" and 12" of silver Memory Thread and wrap both pieces around the wire loop. Curl the ends using a pen, chopstick, or small paintbrush. Tie a small bow of blue sheer swirl ribbon and use Zots adhesive dots to adhere it to the wire loop as shown.
  3. Embellish the etched snowflake and the Dazzles snowflakes with silver Stickles as shown. Let dry.
