Hello Friend Butterfly Card

Designer Tip: Don't press too hard on parchment with stylus, or paper will tear.



  1. Place your card with the fold on the left. Cut a 4 5/8"x6 1/8" yellow cardstock and place on your craft sheet. Tape the bottom floral cutout area of the flower stencil over the top of your card, near upper edge. Use the squeegee to spread spackle evenly over the open areas of the stencil. Remove stencil and repeat process on lower edge of card. Remove stencil and let dry. Mat on red with 1/16" border and center on your card.
  2. Cut a 3 1/4"x3 7/8" red cardstock and place on your craft sheet. Tape the flower stencil on the center and use the squeegee to apply spackle to cut out areas (not inside of the frame. Remove stencil and let dry. Mat on yellow, then red with 1/16" borders. When dry, use Smooch® Inks on spackled images: flowers - Taffy Pink; leaves and dots - Green Apple; highlights and dots - Sundance. Let dry. Foam tape on center of card.
  3. Place parchment paper on the piercing mat, tape the butterfly stencil down and use the 1mm stylus to trace two butterfly images. Fill in areas of butterfly wings and body with circular motions of the stylus. Remove stencil and cut out butterflies, with a 1/16" border. Score and fold one of the butterfly's wings on either side of the body and Zot onto center mat. Place other butterfly under upper left corner of mat. Place "Hello friend" Dazzles on center mat. Cut the line Dazzle in half and place on either side of the words.
