Designer's Tip: This quick and easy wall hanging has lots of color and texture! Mist the white corrugated cardstock for soft color, then add pretty buttons and stickles for sparkle and shine. Pink roses soften the look.

  1. Cut a 5 1/2"x5 3/4" heart shape from the white corrugated cardstock. Lightly mist the heart with Dragonfly ink, then Vintage Pink ink. Let dry. Punch a hole on each side of the heart, 1/4" from the top.
  2. Use the wire cutters to remove the shanks from the back of the buttons as needed. Thread 1/8" wide light pink or light aqua grosgrain ribbon through the button holes to finish them, or use thin strips of light green cardstock. Zot buttons to the center of the heart, alternating colors and styles of the buttons as shown. Layer some of the buttons together with contrasting colors and shapes.
  3. Add light pink paper roses and a pink metallic ribbon bow between the buttons as shown. Embellish some of the buttons with turquoise Stickles as desired. Let dry.
  4. Thread an 11" length of 3/4" wide light pink crepe ribbon through the holes in the top of the heart, tying a knot at the front of each hole at the ends. Cut a 10" length of pink metallic ribbon and glue centered on the ribbon above the heart. Hang the heart on your wall.
