Designer Tip: These Card Toppers aren't just for cards, they also make great additions to scrapbook pages. I colored this card topper to match my background papers and added journaling-so easy!

  1. Cut a 12"x3" Geometrics blue/gray patterned paper rectangle and glue across a Geometrics green background paper, 3 1/4" from the top. Glue 1/2" wide golden yellow twill centered across the strip. Trim the twill edges even with the paper.
  2. Cut an 8"x9" Geometrics gold/yellow patterned paper and mat on brown cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue centered over the page, 3/4" from the top. Mat the 7"x5" photo on brown cardstock with 1/16" borders. Glue centered to the golden yellow paper, 3 1/2" from the bottom of the rectangle.
  3. Use the stylus and blending tip to lightly color the edges of the Color Me Chocolate Post Card card topper with Butter ink. Using a clean blending tip, add Chambray ink lightly over the background of the card topper, leaving some areas lighter than others. Add Chambray to the "Post Card" banner at the top, and to the butterflies. Wipe off the excess with a paper towel.
  4. Apply Mint ink to the leaves and center of the butterfly wings, plus the stamp in the upper right corner and the banner at the top. Add Butter ink to the blossoms and Fawn ink to the stems. Add more ink to the background as needed. Wipe off excess ink with a paper towel. Glue to the page, 3/4" from the right edge and 1/2" from the bottom.
  5. Cut out a tag, label, two flowers with leaves, and a butterfly from the Color Me tag sheets. Color the butterfly and flowers/leaves as you did for the card topper. Color the tag and label lightly with Chambray ink, then a bit of Mint ink. Wipe off excess ink.
  6. Journal on the Card Topper and label with the black pen. Add the year to the lower right portion of the tag. Glue the tag and label as shown. Foam tape the flowers and butterfly as shown. Zot a twill bow to the left side of the picture as shown.
