Butterflies Gold Wish

Designer Tip: Make the butterflies seem as if they are flying away and getting smaller by placing the largest near the bottom and the smallest on the top of the card.



  1. Card front: Place the card fold on the left and cover with North Country blue paper. Glue 5"x1 3/4" North Country striped paper across the bottom. Ink the edges fo the card with Black.
  2. Mat the top and sides of 4 3/8" square North Country dark green floral paper with black cardstock, leaving 1/8" borders. Glue flush with the top edge of the striped border. Place gold Dazzles borders across the top of the striped border.
  3. Back the butterfly label with light blue striped paper, and cut arounf the Dazzles edges. Mat on black cardstock, leaving 1/16" border. Place the "Wish" greeting and tiny butterfly Dazzles on the label. Paint the label butterfly with Carrot Smooch Ink. Foam tape the label to the center top of the border.
  4. Back the medium butterfly with North Country orange fern paper and glue to the right side of the card. Back a small and extra small butterfly with North Country light blue striped paper. Color in details with Smooch® as shown. Let dry then foam tape above the large buttefly and to the left. Place 3 tiny butterflies in the top left corner.
