Stained Glass Poinsettia card

Designer's Tip: Rub damp bar soap on the back of the stencil before placing on the double sided adhesive. The soap will make it easier to remove the stencil after glittering.



  1. 1) Card front: Place the card with the fold at the side and cover with black cardstock. Mat long edges of 4 3/4"x2 1/4" Christmas Sweets red dot paper with black cardstock, leaving 1/8" wide border. Glue across 4 3/4"x6 1/4" Christmas Sweets green tile paper 1" from the top. Glue to the card front. Glue Christmas Sweets 1/4" wide Metallic green glitter ribbon across the center of the border.
  2. 2) Cut white cardstock to the size of the stencil and cover with double sided adhesive. Place stencil on adhesive/cardstock. Use Post-It Notes to mask areas of the stencil that are not the poinsettia.
  3. 3) Apply gold glitter to the center of flower and tap off excess. Place red glitter on poinsettia leaves. Tap off excess. Unmask leaves and glitter then green. Glitter glass areas gold. Peel off stencil and glitter the background black.
  4. 4) Mat with black cardstock, leaving 1/8" border and glue 3/8" from the card top. Use the 1/4" wide metallic green ribbon to make a bow and Zot( to the left side of the ribbon border. Place "Merry Christmas" Dazzles at the card bottom.
