Designer’s Tip: Hold the airbrush 2” from the paper, or hold it further away for lighter/softer tones. Holding it too close to the paper may result in lines or streaks of ink instead of a mist.

  1. Place the Mini Gears template on the Kraft cardstock and tape the corners in place. Refer to the instructions included with the airbrush for pen position, hand grip, and angle. Take the airbrush and unscrew the pen holder. Take the cap off the Plum pen and place it inside the barrel with the tip of the pen extending just beyond the tip of the airbrush. Tighten the screw. Grip the bulb while holding the tip of the airbrush over your Mini Gears template on the cardstock. Give the bulb a sharp squeeze, angling the spray over the exposed areas of the template. Repeat with the Pine Green and Dark Brown pens until you have applied the amount of color desired. Remove the tape and template.
  2. Cover a white tag with the airbrushed design, trimming edges evenly with the tag. Ink the edges with Dark Brown ink. Mat on black with 1/16” borders. Mat on Hammered Gold specialty paper with 1/16” borders. Re-punch the hole at the top of the tag. Place Dazzles™ on the tag as shown. To back Dazzles™, place on Hammered Gold paper and cut next to the Dazzles™ edge. Foam tape on the tag as shown.
  3. Use black twine to tie a bow. Zot™ near the keys. Thread 3/4" wide yellow crepe ribbon through the hole at the top of the tag and tie as shown. Trim the ends into a “V”.
