What a Happy Day Shutter Card

Designer Tip: Frame your sentiments by using the same paper around the outside edges, and a different paper in the middle area.
- Card front: Use the template to trace and cut a card base from light blue cardstock. Trace the lines for cutting and scoring. Use the X-acto® knife to cut the middle area. Score the lines and fold.
- Trace and cut two Outer Frame pieces and two Spine pieces from Unforgettable light green paper. Cut one Center, and two Center Side pieces from Unforgettable pink pattern paper. Glue each piece to the matching area.
- Cut two matching 11”x5/8” stripes from the Unforgettable stripe paper. Glue them across the top and bottom of the card, ½” from the top and bottom edges.
- Use the sponge to ink the edges of the wreath die-cut with Dark Cherry ink. Stamp “What a Happy Day” in Dark Brown ink, on the wreath die-cut. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder. Tap off the excess, and heat emboss with the heat tool. Glue only to the left card front so it covers the opening. Add a layered pink flower Dazzles™ and Zot™ a ribbon bow under the flower. Use the same heat embossing process to stamp the “Thinking of You” on the tag die-cut. Foam tape to the card center. Glue a leaf stem die-cut to the right center panel, and foam tape a butterfly die-cut on top. Foam tape a butterfly die-cut to the top right corner. Place three layered Pink Flower Dazzles™ to the top center panel.
